Welcome to the transformative health workforce education (TE) interactive map of case studies

Why submit a case study ?

Our objective is to establish a global resource to:

i. document country experiences and examples of transformative health workforce education;
ii. highlight examples of good / best practice in support of WHO World Health Assembly resolution 66.23, paragrpah 1.5;
iii. relevant and appropriate examples included in the WHO Database on Intersectoral Action for Health Equity (ISACS).

The interactive map and case studies on the TE interactive map is an element of WHO technical support to Member States in formulating and implementing evidence-based policies and strategies in order to strengthen and transform their health workforce education in support of universal health coverage.

So what is a case study ?

• A case study is an account of an activity, event or problem that contains a real situation and highlights the complexities that you would encounter in the workplace or project implementation.
• Case studies are used to help you see how the complexities of real life influence decisions, learn from and share your experiences and support continuous improvement.
• On the WHO transformative education website we have also included options to include your social media sites, voting and commenting by other registered users.
